Not Quite Engaged

I feel so terrible for my SO who was denied a great job because he failed a credit check. He needs the job so he can improve his credit - but he can't have the job because he has bad credit. SO FRUSTRATING.

I woke up with a sore throat! Wah!! :(  I've done nothing but rest, nap, chug water, juice, and hot tea, and take vitamins all weekend through yesterday and I wake up with a new symptom instead of feeling better??? Grrrrr. I hope it magically goes away soon.

Sorry about the sore throat E, hope it clears up for you!  Sometimes I wake up having one, or feeling sinus-y in general, but as the day goes on it clears up.

The only thing I really have to whine about is the godforsaken weather!! 

I am so sick of the rain I can barely stand it.  I just feel so blah and sleepy and my drive to work has been crappy!  The town I live in is bound by water on almost all sides (rivers, canals, etc.) and many of the roads leading in and out flood when we have several days of steady rain.  I told Donny if it keeps up we may have to show up at my parents' house later like refugees because all the roads might be closed!

This week's whine is a petty whine, I admit it.

Next Wedneday is my 25th Birthday. First off, I can guarantee there's not going to be any even remote CHANCE that I would be one of those lucky girls to get proposed to her on B-day. But that's beside the point. I also have class all day on Wednesday and rehearsal all night. That said, normally Will and I celebrate on the weekend following my B-day by going to a nice restaurant by ourselves and treating it as a very intimate date. Well, this year we have absolutely no time for that because of The Crucible rehearsals. We're busy every weekend until Thanksgiving. I miss it because we rarely ever get a chance to have those evenings together. :(
