Not Quite Engaged

My SO and I went to my friends wedding last night. When we got there we went and got a couple glasses of wine. I went to toast him and said "to this not being us". Umm... didn't quite come out the way I meant it!!! I meant I don't want a wedding and he knew that but did give me a bad time about it.

So after the ceremony he suggested we go take a picture in front of the arch and send a pic to our parents telling them we got married!

Can I just admit that I'm really really itching to marry him!?!!! Even though I don't want the full nine, I still really want to be husband and wife. I'm crossing my fingers it will happen this winter.

And I think that because he suggested that when we decide to get married that we send out an invite the week before telling everyone that we'll be getting married that weekend in Tahoe. Um, guess hes thought about it!

You absolutely can admit that! :) It's an awesome thing! :) I don't want a huge, complicated wedding either - the husband and wife thing is what I dream about. :) I'm crossing my fingers for you getting a winter proposal.

And by the way - have you ever seen/heard about when people do 'surprise' weddings? Like they invite their closest loved ones to a party and when everyone arrives they find out they are there to witness your wedding? Something like that might suit you guys perfectly.
