Is anyone's job requiring them to get a flu shot?

Well, I am going to be working in the schools and I think I will have to get one. I'm not sure if it's required yet....I will know this week though...

Are you getting the flu shot/vaccine Amy?

I've gotten the flu shot every year for as many years as I can remember, and my boys every year of their lives so far.  Both of my kids have been vaccinated this year already, but I still need to get mine.  I'm hoping to find the time, and place that still  has it available, this next week.  We've only had one incidence of the flu in our household in probably the last 10 years.....about 2 years ago when my husband failed to get his vaccine and sure enough he got it - verified by the doctor and everything.  He was miserable sick for a full week and I was changing his sheets every day from how bad his body was sweating.  None of the rest of us (vaccinated) family members caught it thank God.

As long as my Ped's office gets the H1N1 vaccine batch without the thermisole/mercury, my boys will be getting that one too.  Not sure if it will be availble for DH and I as we are not in a high risk group and supply is supposed to be low.  If its available, I'm getting it.

I helped with a local flu vaccination program this week and it was unreal how many turned out. We ran out of the actual shot vaccination and just barely had enough of the nasal mist.
