Not yet! My DH had it 2 years ago, and man was he sick! I had to change the sheets every day because he was sweating so much with his fever. But he did survive, and fortunately neither me or the boys caught it. I actually can't remember now if he had gotten his flu shot that year or not. He usually does, as do me and the boys. This year only my oldest has gotten his flu shot as we happened to be visiting the Ped. for an unrelated incident. I still need to get the youngest one in, and myself. Thankfully the boys can have the nasal mist vaccine so there are no worries about "the needle."
Still considering whether or not we'll get the H1N1. I saw most recently on the news that it will be available in the nasal mist form, but I also saw that some vaccine batches will have the Thermisol/Mercury in them and some won't. I'm going to try and find out which my Ped will have. The regular flu vaccine that they give does not have the Thermisol/Mercury in it.
